My father, who was a National Guard Officer,
passed away since I was a child. I don't remember him very well, but I remembered
what people were talking about him and some of what he did. I wished we could
have time to talk about certain things.First, I would like to talk about why people
remember him and pray for him until now. My relatives always say to me “Be like
your father” since I was a child and I didn't know the reason for this until I
grew up. I want to tell him how people appreciate you, and you make me proud of
you. Some of people when they look at me, they always remember my father and
start praying for him.The second thing I hoped to do is to sit in our
old home and let him tell me how he spent his life with his parents and friends
and what he did to achieve this position in most of peoples’ hearts. I learned
from my mother and his friend a lot about him, but it wasn't enough because
they summed up some of the information. The last thing is I wished to tell him I became
an engineer because he was a civil engineer and I think it was an essential point
in my life. I want to make him proud of me and people will know that and they
will continue to pray for him as long as I am or my memories and deeds exist.

ReplyDeleteHi Mohummed,
ReplyDeleteI really like your post. Also, I am sure that you will meet your father when you enter the Garden of Eden "If Allah wills". Then you surely can ask him whatever you want; However, till now you can only pray for him and we will do, too. Moreover, you should work to do something that makes your father proud of you when you meet him and I am sure that you are working.
Keep praying for your father bro.
Hi Mohammad,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for that your father died, but if he was a live, I'm sure he will be proud of you.
I like your organise.
You have little grammar mistakes that've changed the meaning when you use past instead of present.
Such as I wished and I remembered ..
Work harder for him, pray more and we will do.
I ask Allah for mercy and forgiveness for your father.
ReplyDeletein addition to what guys mention previously, for last sentence I did not understand (and people will know that ).
keep praying bro. ,and you will meet him someday "If Allah wills".
This is a very sweet post. I'm sure that your father would be proud of you to read this one. Now that I am a father, it is very interesting to see the other perspective, because my only perspective for so long what that of a son.
